“Estrada Atlântica” (Atlantic Road) is the longest cycle path in Portugal, with 62 km. Don’t miss the opportunity to cycle from Osso da Baleia beach to Norte beach, in Nazaré, where successive world records for the biggest wave surfed have been broken.

“Estrada Atlântica” (Atlantic Road)
This cycle path passes through Praia da Vieira: to the north, you can cycle to Pedrogão beach and to the south, to the bucolic São Pedro de Moel beach. By bike you can also discover other beaches: Pedras Negras, Água de Madeiros, Pedra do Ouro, Polvoeira or Paredes de Vitória.
You can also cycle between Praia da Vieira and Vieira de Leiria in complete safety, as there is a separate cycle path that connects both locations (2 km).

Shellter provides bicycles so that you can ride freely on the different cycle paths:
- Half day: € 10.00;
- Full day: € 15.00.

In partnership with Centro Hípico da Guia, we offer the following activities, subject to reservation:
- Initiation class, a class where you will go through the essential steps of riding;
- Hippotherapy (equine therapy), a therapy session whose main objective is to promote the practitioner’s psychological, physical and social development;
- Horseback riding on the farm, a guided tour of the farm at Guia Equestrian Center;
- Horseback riding on the beach, a guided tour of the sand, here at Vieira beach.
All these activities are subject to reservation and availability by CHG. We advise you to make your request when booking your stay.
